MAGIC

MAGIC.

From
bay
tree in
fairyland
garden, gather leaves,
fresh with rain from morning’s call of
kookaburras, who laughingly sang up this light fall.
Bunch together, tie with ribbon,
as gifts
to give to healers,
three,
to hang up in a
herb nursery.

Wish
spells
to make,
when daylight
fades, and time is tuned
to nightfall, beckoning dreaming.
(an old recipe)
Write on a leaf with
dragon’s blood,
or pen,
one
word.
Focus,
burn the leaf.
Be light, be fair, be positive.
As fire, bright, lights up the night
pour water on flames.
Allow the smoke to hibernate
in safety.
Visualizing
wish fulfilled,
sleep
well.

Inspired by an ancient druidic spell, this was produced for BWG as ‘an old recipe’.
