LAMENT FOR MICHAEL PRICE
Dear Booza,
With love and heartfelt
sorrow,
We say farewell to you.
You were of noble character,
A gentleman, through and
through.
Rayleen and your family,
Ronny, Spooky and the guys,
Linda and all your friends,
Hold you dear, and grieve at
your demise.
I remember such fun on the
dance floor,
How you loved to dance,
Square dance, barn dance,
rock and rock.
We bopped at any chance.
Wild car rides, as teenagers,
we thought we ruled the
world.
We moved through space at a
rapid pace,
Always laughing as we
unfurled.
Most of all, I remember your
laugh.
It rings in my head even now.
Your smiling face is there,
too.
So, glad I am to have known
you.
May you rest in peace.
At journey’s end,
Radiance may you find.
We love you still, always
will,
We who are left behind.
