FROM A DRY LAKE BED

FROM A DRY LAKE BED.

Come,
old
fossils,
lift with breezes
from a dry lake bed
when the Sahara sneezes.
Create a billowing dust curt-aain.
Chad’s tan wind clouds blow
to the west,
again.
Laden
with
pearl
phosphorus,
across the Atlantic Ocean
ride on high,
past giant waves and
sailing ships,
past islands, lazing in the sun,
                                                                        to sigh,
to hear a mighty jungle scream.
Top soils,
depleted.
Nature’s coat,
 a ragged green.
Now,
lay down your bounty.
                                                                     Allow this flora
                                                                      to flourish
                                                                   and gleam.
 Nature’s cycle comes every year,
allows nutrients
 to
reappear.
Amazon River,
dreaming,
flows,
enriching
 sediments.
So it goes!

LIFE

LIFE

Is
A
Jigsaw,
unfinished,
at this point in time.
Attract serendipity moments, empty the mind.
Great expectations disappear.
Silently, it creeps;
peace sublime.
Open pathways to fortunes find,
of another kind.
Delighting in the turn of fate
allow good luck to germinate.
Law of Attraction
water with your mind.
Spread
seeds
of joy,
learning to be kind.
Grateful
for small gifts.
Acknowledge a smile.
Some pieces in a jigsaw are
difficult to fit.
Down the track,
understanding comes
and we see
logic
in
it.

Good
Luck!

WHATEVER IT TAKES.

Be
A
Terra
Firma-ist,
embracing frosty
mornings
Enjoy the fresh air while we may.
There’s so many dire warnings.
Start
with
leaping
out of bed.
Lungs fill with a Ha
                                     Ha Ha          (action- beat chest)
         Banish dreams of dread,
Focus on Ra Ra Ra Ra Ra     (action- tap head)
  Looking ‘good’ instead.
Greet green parrots with seeds on grass.       (action- wave hands)
Whatever it takes,
Long may they last.
Listen to
Lyrebirds,
 Singing in the dells,
Harken to the whispering wind
tinkling tree bells
Finding sculptures in barren trees,
drawn starkly against horizon.
Watch stormy snow clouds
change their promises
to
look like
puffy
pillows,
so easy to rest the eyes on!
Be
A
Terra
Firma-ist.
Delight in Nature’s
Glory.
Be a
Terra
Firma-ist,
living Her-story.
